A 6-minute drive from Castle Douglas, The Haven B&B occupies an 18th-century cottage on the banks of the River Dee. It offers free parking and WiFi and a full Scottish breakfast served in the conservatory.

The guest room has a flat-screen TV, desk and tea and coffee facilities. The en suite bathroom has a large shower, with hairdryer and toiletries provided.

A full Scottish Breakfast is served in the conservatory which overlooks the back garden and river.

The Haven B&B is around 20 minutes’ drive from the Galloway Activity Centre, which offers windsurfing, power-boating and canoeing on Loch Ken. Nearby Castle Douglas is a designated Food Town due to its impressive choice of cafés and restaurants and its fine local produce.
